About this work
This hand-colored engraved plan shows the battlefield of Ramillies with lines of troops, roads, rivers and villages, above a panoramic battle scene and an order of battle table. An allegorical figure with a flag and two oval portraits frame the title cartouche. The print is attributed to Anna Beek and dated 1709.
