About this work
A hand-colored plan of the fortified town of Aire and the Fort St. François, showing bastion-style ramparts, street layouts, and surrounding fields with roads and waterways. A compass rose and a keyed legend in the lower right identify the lettered sites. The sheet is dated 1709 and was issued in Paris by the Baillieu publishing house.
