About this work
A chromolithographic calendar poster for H. Clausen & Son Lager Beer shows a Victorian-style building with a turret and beer signs for champagne and royal beer. A red stagecoach carrying passengers in top hats and a woman in a red hat drives along a road beside riders and a wooden barrel. The 1889 calendar months frame the scene, and the work was produced by Knapp & Co. in 1888.
