About this work
A hand-colored lithograph of the public room at the 5th Ward Museum Hotel, shown with two seated men in top hats near a fireplace, a standing man in the middle of the room, and a bartender behind a curved counter. The walls are crowded with framed pictures, mounted birds and curiosities, and the ceiling is hung with soft drapery. The print was issued by Knapp & Co. in 1864.
