About this work
A colorful aerial-perspective print shows the Union Station building in Washington, D.C. with its long arcaded facade, central domed roof, and two large fountains in the forefront. Streetcars, automobiles, a horse-drawn carriage, and crowds of pedestrians animate the broad avenues, while railway tracks extend across the left side. The work is dated 1906 and is attributed to Breuker & Kessler Co.
