About this work
A lithographic print shows the New York Cotton Exchange building, a multi-storey stone structure with a rounded corner bay, a conical turret topped by a flag bearing the building's name, and arched windows. Horse-drawn wagons, one loaded with bales, and pedestrians occupy the street in the foreground. The print is credited to American Photo-Litho. Co. and dated 1884.
