About this work
A hand-colored lithographic plate from Le Magasin de Meubles, showing three views of a convertible wooden table, labeled as a game table with transformations, a sewing table, and a writing desk. The mahogany-toned cases have gilt edging, reeded tapered legs, and green and blue baize or leather surfaces. The plate is by Victor Léon Michel Quétin, dated 1832 to 1904.
