About this work
A hand-coloured lithographic plate from the Le Magasin de Meubles series shows two Henri II style tables, numbered 1625 and 1626. The upper table is a cabinet table with turned legs, a central drawer pull and an X-shaped stretcher, while the lower one is a bureau table with carved drawer panels. The plate is by Victor Léon Michel Quétin, dated 1832 to 1904.
