About this work
This plate from Le Magasin de Meubles shows two English-style cabinets, numbered 552 and 553, rendered in fine lithographic lines with shaded wood grain. The smaller piece has a single glazed door, while the larger has two, both set above a open lower shelf on turned legs and topped by a galleried upper rail. The sheet is titled Petit Meuble Anglais; Meuble Anglais, 2 Portes and bears the publisher credit of V.L. Quétin, Paris.
