About this work
A hand-colored print titled Lambrequin, Grand Feston from the series Le Magasin de Meubles, plate 687, shows an elaborate window treatment with a gilded cornice, teal and gold draperies edged with burgundy fringe, and a pink patterned sheer panel over a window with a wrought-iron railing. The sheet is credited to Victor Léon Michel Quétin, with a date range of 1832 to 1904 and a Paris publication line.
