About this work
A hand-colored plate from the periodical Le Magasin de Meubles shows a window dressed with a curved lambrequin, gold silk curtains, and rust-red and green fringe. Through the glass, trees and a distant church spire are visible. The print is attributed to Victor Léon Michel Quétin, dated 1832 to 1904, and labeled as the 57th livraison, plate 455.
