About this work
A hand-colored plate from the furniture catalogue Le Macasin de Meubles shows a carved Henri II etagère, a Henri II servante, and a Henri II cartel clock. The pieces are rendered in warm brown tones with turned legs, carved friezes, and shelves. The print is attributed to Victor Léon Michel Quétin and dated 1832 to 1904.
