A hand-colored plate of six decorative mantelpiece valances, each shown as a horizontal swag or fringed drape over a shelf, rendered in green, blue, purple, red, and wood tones. The designs feature scrolled patterns, fringe, tassels, and painted floral or heraldic motifs. The print is titled Décors pour dessus de Cheminées and was made by Victor Léon Michel Quétin, dated 1832 to 1904.
