About this work
A hand-colored plate from the Le Magasin de Meubles series presents two Louis XVI style pieces: a gilt console with a pink marble top and a table with a red leather inset top. Both are shown with ornate gilt mounts, fluted legs and stretchers, and a central wreath or head motif. The work is attributed to Victor Léon Michel Quétin and dated 1832 to 1904.
