A hand-coloured lithograph shows a tall black wood bookcase with glazed doors, gilt marquetry panels, and an urn finial on an arched pediment. The cabinet is presented as furniture design plate titled Bibliothèque, (bois noir et marqueterie), published in Paris by Victor Léon Michel Quétin, with dates 1832 to 1904.
