About this work
A hand-colored lithograph from the Le Magasin de Meubles series shows a dark, richly carved two-part bookcase with glazed doors, a central bust atop the pediment, and green and red inset details. The shelves are filled with striped, colored book spines. The sheet is inscribed as plate 285 and attributed to Victor Léon Michel Quétin, dated 1832 - 1904.
