About this work
This engraved plate shows two architectural wall elevations, one labeled for a vestibule and one for an antechamber, with paneled walls, pilasters, and double doors. The upper elevation includes arched niches holding decorative urns, while the lower one features rectangular panels and a garland above the doorway. The print is by Jean François de Neufforge, published in 1767 as part of a treatise on wainscot decoration for bourgeois and private apartments.
