About this work
An engraved plate by Jean-Charles Delafosse, titled Livre huitième, L'Histoire, Mansuétude, dated 1768 to 1771. Above, a circular medallion depicts a rider on a winged horse among clouds, set within a decorative frame with a lion mask.
