About this work
An engraved plate shows a tall stepped pyramid-like monument topped by a hanging lamp and a laurel-wreathed roundel. The roundel depicts a figure driving a chariot through clouds beneath radiant light, with a serpent and fallen objects below. The lower section holds stacked tablets, a serpent, a crocodile, and a cross, all set on a stone pedestal.
