This page from Shin-Bijutsukai by Furuya Kōrin, dated 1901-1902, shows cherry blossom branches with white flowers and yellow stamens, red maple leaves drifting across a pale ground, and a small bird perched on a branch. The lower panel presents a dark field with white wind-blown grasses, pale green leaves and scattered blossoms.
