About this work
A drawing titled Nu féminin by Jean Jacques Lequeu, dated 1777-1825, shows a nude female figure with both arms raised across her face and head, set within an elongated hexagonal panel. Brown wash tones model the body against a dark background, and a line of Greek-style lettering appears in the lower left corner.
