About this work

A stage design maquette in gouache and watercolor shows a stone house built against a snowy mountain under a deep blue night sky. A single lit window glows warmly in the dark stone wall, and a green slope descends beside a lower wall. This work by Gaston Baty is dated 1932 and is titled in French as a set model for the Épilogue of Bifur.
