About this work
A chromolithographic plate of nine jewelry designs rendered in gold tones with inset red and green gemstones. The largest pendant at upper left bears the word HOPE across its band, and several pieces show fringed or drop elements. The plate is titled as a print from Die Perle, dated 1872 to 1873, by Martin Gerlach.
