About this work
A snowfall covers a red temple gate, its tiled roof, the courtyard path and a stone bridge over a dark green pond, with a figure holding a green umbrella walking toward the gate. This woodblock print by Kawase Hasui, dated 1931, is titled Shiba koen no yuki (Snow at Shiba Park).
