About this work
A woodblock print shows a traditional wooden farmhouse with a green-tiled roof beside rows of green crops on a terraced slope. A figure carrying a large basket walks along a path below a persimmon tree heavy with orange fruit, with a mountain rising behind. The work is attributed to Kawase Hasui and dated 1955.
