About this work
A Japanese woodblock print shows a standing samurai warrior holding a long wooden staff over his shoulder and a gourd bottle near his face, with two swords tucked at his back. Vertical columns of calligraphy and a red title cartouche appear at the top, and a red artist seal sits at the lower right.
