About this work
A hand-colored political cartoon shows figures representing Turkey, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Belgium, Roumania and Servia, with some holding swords and olive branches while speech bubbles and NO signs fill the scene. The large caption reads Short, and to the point, and the lower right corner carries the copyright line for 1917 and the Carey Cartoon Service of New York.
