About this work
A hand-colored political cartoon titled In No Man's Land, issued weekly by the Carey Cartoon Service in New York and copyrighted in 1916. It shows caricatured figures of national leaders and nations, including Hindenburg, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Serbia, Russia, and a lion-and-bear pairing, struggling across a cratered battlefield with dialogue bubbles.
