About this work
A 1915 political cartoon by Carey Cartoon Service titled Did He Fall, Or Was He Pushed. It shows a parade wagon labeled Wilson's Great American Show with a brass band of named figures, while a stooped man in a rumpled suit, labeled Bryan, kneels in the street holding a trumpet. Suffrage marchers carrying Votes for Women banners and a French cafe with German-language speech bubbles appear along the left side.
