About this work
A sheet of twenty-four small caricature vignettes arranged in three rows, each paired with the title of a popular song printed beneath it. The exaggerated figures include a frog under a mushroom, a cat beneath a crescent moon, a seated child at a confectionery counter, and a figure holding a bottle, rendered in black and white lithographic line work. The print is credited to John H. Bufford's & Sons and dated 1875.
