About this work
A black and white political cartoon by Samuel Ehrhart shows a bespectacled man in a dark suit labeled Wilson pointing at the bulging belly of a heavyset man in checked trousers. The heavyset man's belly is labeled Protection and his waistband Trust, while he clutches his head in alarm. The setting is a gymnasium with tariff reform chest weights, rings, a vaulting horse, and a fallen dumbbell.
