About this work
Two hand-coloured engravings show civic buildings in Rotterdam-style urban settings, the upper one depicting the Schielandshuis with carriages and riders in a street, the lower one the Admiraliteitshof beside a canal filled with moored sailing boats and rowing boats flying Dutch flags. The prints are attributed to Johannes de Vouw and dated 1694-1695.
