About this work
A page of twenty-four heraldic shields arranged in rows beneath two gilded cartouche titles, each shield labelled with the name of a Rotterdam pensionary or secretary and a year. The arms display varied charges such as animals, birds, crosses, towers and figures, with some shields left blank at the bottom of the sheet. The work is a print attributed to Johannes de Vouw and dated 1694-1695.
