About this work
A double-page botanical study shows morning glory blossoms in blue wash with green leaves and buds on the left, and bellflower-like plants in grey ink with inked outlines on the right. The sheets are part of Sketchbook Pl.112 by Ariyoshi Kondo, dated 1826-1840.
