About this work
A double-page botanical study shows a flowering stem with clusters of small yellow four-petaled blossoms and broad, serrated green leaves, painted in soft watercolor washes with faint ghosted outlines of other plants behind. Handwritten Japanese characters appear in the upper right corner.
