About this work
A double-page botanical sketchbook spread showing branches of flowering quince with red blossoms, green serrated leaves, and thorny stems, painted in watercolor on soft cream paper. A small white five-petaled flower and additional leafy branches appear on the right page, with Japanese inscriptions beside the drawings.
