About this work
A page from Ariyoshi Kondo's sketchbook shows a large fan of banded tail feathers spread across the center, with a pair of yellow talons drawn at the upper right and lower right. Smaller feather and foot studies appear at the upper left and lower left, and Japanese inscriptions run along the right margin.
