About this work
A color lithographic plate shows a tall ornate candelabrum on a stepped pedestal, with a figure of a nude putto flanked by two smaller cherubs supporting the shaft. A carved arabesque panel of foliage scrolls stands at left, and a swag of fruit hangs against a wall draped in green fabric.
