This Japanese woodblock print by Toshikata Mizuno, dated 1898, shows a woman in a patterned kimono standing beside a row of red and white paper lanterns hung on a bamboo fence. Behind her, a seated woman and two men in Western hats are visible among bare trees, with a soft misty landscape receding to the right.
