About this work
A watercolor and ink costume design for the character titled Glooms, shown as a stylized figure in a white high-buttoned coat, loose trousers and dark shoes against a gray wash background. A small inset sketch in the upper left repeats the figure with arms outstretched. The work is attributed to Will R. Barnes and dated 1922 to 1923.
