About this work
A gray-toned drawing shows a round, cream-colored cartoon figure with a frowning face, black oval eyes, and a small hat, wearing black and white striped legs and white shoes. The figure's black sleeves end in white-outlined hands held out at its sides. The work is inscribed 'Front of Bad Days' at the top and signed Barnes at the lower left, dated 1922 - 1923 by Will R. Barnes.
