About this work
A watercolor and pencil drawing shows a young woman with a bob haircut and a sailor-style blue outfit with a white hat, sitting astride a large plush-looking bear with a red bow at its neck. The figure is shown in a standing-bear pose on a pale background with a soft green shadow beneath. The work is attributed to Will R. Barnes and dated 1921 - 1922.
