About this work
A costume design sketch in gouache and pencil shows a female figure in a checkerboard red and white bodice, white shorts, a red ruffled collar, a top hat with a white pompom, and red boots. The sheet is signed by Will R. Barnes with a New York address and is dated between 1912 and 1924.
