A painted costume design shows a female performer dressed entirely as a watermelon, with a watermelon-slice hat decorated with yellow flowers, a watermelon-patterned vest over a yellow blouse, red shorts with black seeds, and green boots. The sheet is annotated with the title "Watermelon Boys" and a "Coon Number" note, and carries the name Will R. Barnes with a New York address.
