About this work
A costume design by Will R. Barnes titled Field Daisy, dated 1919 to 1920, shows a female figure in a yellow dress and green lace-up shoes. She wears a bodice of white daisies on a woven green basket and stands beneath an arch wreathed with daisies and grasses. The sheet is rendered in watercolor and pencil with the artist's name and address and the numeral 22 written in the corners.
