About this work
This three-panel print shows rowers in a racing shell on the water, with a coxswain in a white vest calling through a red megaphone while the oarsmen pull hard in the central panel. Sailboats and small craft fill the harbor background, and a gold trophy cup appears beside the red title lettering. The work is titled The last mile, created by Hibberd Van Buren Kline in 1909.
