About this work

A painting on pale paper shows pink chrysanthemum-like blossoms with yellow centers, one on a tall, slender stalk and others clustered on a lower stalk at the bottom edge. Dark grey-green leaves and small buds accompany the flowers, rendered with fine ink outlines and soft colour washes.
