About this work
A hand-colored plate showing an arrangement of Central Asian knives and daggers, many with ornate silver or enamelled sheaths, bone or wooden hilts, and braided silk cords with tassels. They rest on a dark ground above a decorative woven textile band. The work is the 1912 print Arms of Turkistan by Henri Moser.
