About this work
A printed plate arranged on a cream ground shows several Balkan weapons, including a flintlock pistol, curved swords in decorated scabbards, and a dagger with a horn-like hilt, each finely engraved with floral and geometric patterns. The plate is labeled in French and German with the title Armes des Balkans and Balkanwaffen, and is part of the Collection H. Moser.
