About this work
A color plate shows five enamelled daggers arranged vertically against a dark background, with ornate floral and foliate enamel decoration on their sheaths and ivory or bone hilts. One dagger has a red velvet scabbard with gilt mounts, while the others display densely patterned enamel in red, blue, and green. The plate is from the collection of Henri Moser and dates to 1912.
